Susan Benson and her husband Gary J. Benson photographed a wide variety of subjects while on assignment in North America. Best known for his railroad photography, Benson published two books on the subject the widely acclaimed 'Rolling Thunder: A Portrait of North American Railroads' (1991, W.W.
